Flax Oil

Flax oil is the richest natural source of an essential nutrient, Alpha Linolenic Acid (Omega 3), that is lacking in most modern diets. Without an adequate intake of Omega 3 essential fatty acids (EFAs), the human body is unable to function properly. For example, since 60 percent of the human brain consists of fats, a lack of Omega 3 in a person’s diet can lead to reduced brain function and problems such as depression and poor concentration. Omega 3 deficiency manifests itself in other areas too: dry, cracked skin, brittle hair and nails, and joint pain are all classic symptoms. Modern diets typically contain insufficient quantities of Omega 3. This is because Omega 3 EFAs are easily damaged by heat, air and light. Since most meals today are heated or processed our food contains too little Omega 3. Supplementing our diet with 1-2 tablespoons of flax oil daily helps correct this Omega 3 deficiency, and alleviates the associated symptoms. These capsules are organically certified.
