| Organic Omega Blend 3-6-9 |
Crede Omega Blend contains six cold-pressed oils, carefully combined to create the ‘ideal’ 2:1:1 ratio of Omega 3, 6 and 9 EFAs. The advantage of the Omega Blend over conventional flax oil is that the Omega Blend contains a higher ratio of Omega 6 and 9 EFAs, which more accurately reflects a person’s theoretical nutritional requirements.
Definition: “Organic” refers to a production process that is free of harmful chemicals. For example, compost and manure are used to replace artificial (chemical) fertilizers, and pesticides are largely plant-based. National and international certification bodies regularly inspect and certify organic farms. Our organic olive oil is certified organic by Ecocert, while our organic flax oil is certified organic by Afrisco.
Note: There is no settled consensus on the best ratios in which to take omega fatty acids. Some nutritionists suggest that the ratio of 2:1:1 of Omega 3, 6 and 9 fatty acids is best, claiming that they have received better results in patients with this combination. Others, however, argue that since most people already get enough omega 6 and omega 9 fatty acids in their daily diet, supplementing flax oil (which is rich in omega 3 essential fatty acids) is sufficient. | | | Uses: | - Generally used as a daily nutritional supplement because of its high concentration of omega 3 essential fatty acids
| | Health Benefits: | - No studies have been conducted on Crede Oils’ specific combination of oils. However, since the Omega Blend is high in omega 3, 6 and 9 essential fatty acids, the health benefits are likely to be similar to those of its constituent oils, especially flax oil.
