Do your oils need to be refrigerated?
It depends on the oil. Refrigeration slows down the process of oxidation (i.e. becoming rancid). Some oils, such as flaxseed oil or hempseed oil, are relatively unstable and should be refrigerated. Other oils, especially coconut oil, can be stored unrefrigerated. As a rule of thumb, our nutrition range of oils (black labels) should be refrigerated and our food range (white labels) can be stored normally.
What is the shelf life of your products?
Shelf life is longer for some products than others, and is clearly marked on the labels. There is also a “Best Before” date on each bottle.
