Elmarie’s Protein Balls

From a young age Elmarie knew she wanted to create beautiful food to be shared around the table. Not just food that looked good, but food that was delicious and easy to make. With the most incredible wines on her doorstep from the winelands of South Africa, many of her dishes pair effortlessly and perfectly every time.

These little energy balls work very well for kiddies lunch boxes. They are the perfect on-the-go booster to grab on the way out when there’s no time for breakfast. And best of all they’re healthy!!

1 cup oats

1 cup coconut flakes

½ cup oh Mega smooth peanut butter

½ cup Crede almond flour

1/3 cup honey

1 teaspoon vanilla

½ cup pitted dates, soaked in boiling water for 20 minutes and drained well.

2 tablespoons cocoa powder

Place all the ingredients in a food processor and blitz until combined.

Roll them into balls and let them set a bit.
